The 3.0 liter S55B30 turbo engine of the BMW M2/M3/M4 models is equipped with an indirect charge air cooling circuit. As a result, the cooling process for the charge air is not (as usual) carried out using the ambient air as a cooling medium, but is implemented with the help of a separate cooling water circuit. Accordingly, a reduction in the cooling water temperature can also be directly equated with an improved cooling capacity of the charge air. This is exactly where the advantages of the WAGNERTUNING upgrade water cooler come into play. The newly developed competition - racing nets of the WAGNERTUNING high-performance water cooler increase the cooler volume of the series water cooler by 89% at the front and by 94% at the side. The ratio used between the inner and outer cooling surface generates maximum heat transfer and at the same time allows the adjacent components (e.g. the engine water cooler behind it) enough air flow for its heat exchange. Furthermore, with the help of the increased amount of cooling water, the entire system thermal can be kept at a lower level over a longer period of time.
