Eventuri carbon intake system for BMW E39 M5

The latest product development from Eventuri in England is targeting the BMW E39 M5. The intake for the BMW E39 is intended as a complete solution and replaces the OWM airbox system. The goal of building an intake system for the M5 that works with the OEM ECU map and MAF sensors is achieved through two components. The angular OEM airbox housing is replaced by the patented Eventuri housing, which, as in all Eventuri intakes, guarantees a laminar, even air flow without resistance. In addition, the two scoops that are integrated in the fog lights in this intake system ensure a real flow of cold air.

The difference to the OEM system is immediately noticeable for every M5 driver. The efficiency of the air supply is achieved by the patented Venturi technology in the filter housing. Equipped with the new GEN2 filters, the air flow is shielded from the engine heat and bundled and forwarded in a straight line without major friction losses.

The system shows on the test bench not only an improved response, but of course the usual great sound of the intake, the system promises an increase in performance of up to 8 hp.
