The C8 Corvette Eventuri intake manifold sets a new benchmark for the most powerful intake and largest internal volume* available on this platform. Because the intake duct size and shape is limited by the OEM trunk trim, we redesigned it to accommodate a larger intake duct. We also made it from transparent polycarbonate so that the carbon intake tract is visible when the trunk is open. Our patented Venturi housing concept allows airflow to travel through the filters in a much less tortuous path, reducing system drag. In addition, by increasing the total volume in the intake tract, the flow capacity has also been increased, so that maximum performance gains can be achieved with more powerful models. Intake air temperatures have been minimized through a sealed system, the use of OEM air intakes and the use of carbon fiber, which has a low coefficient of thermal conductivity throughout the wall thickness. The resulting system offers industry-leading performance gains and a noticeable improvement in throttle response.

Our C8 intake has been independently tested by the Corvette specialists at Paragon Performance in Iowa and by the tuning specialists at MSL Performance in the UK. Testing was conducted on fully stock vehicles, with the stock airbox and Eventuri intake tested back-to-back on the same day. Paragon Performance conducted the tests in their closed environment, recording temperatures and fuel trim values. A fully stock C8 was tested with the engine temperatures stabilized and then the car was left on the dyno while the intake manifold was installed. After installation, the vehicle was brought to the same temperatures and then the performance data was measured. This ensured that testing was conducted in an unbiased manner, balancing the variables for the stock airbox and Eventuri intake tract.
As can be seen there is a measurable gain across the entire rev range, not just at top, which is more important as the increased area under the graph shows that induction has an impact beyond the headlines. This gain is noticeable even in a production vehicle on the road through better throttle response and faster acceleration.
