COMPATIBILITY :
-2020+ Toyota MK5 GR Supra (All Models/Trims/RHD/LHD)
The Radium Engineering surge tanks feature large 10AN ORB ports, a 4AN ORB drain port, 2-stage oil separators, and an o-ring sealed dipstick. These kits mount over the factory holes and blend perfectly with the surrounding components. They do NOT vent to the atmosphere (VTA) and are therefore suitable for exhaust and railway use. Closed-loop systems remove the oil and sludge from the PCV gases before they are sent to the engine for combustion. A closed-loop system also promotes crankcase vacuum for optimal performance. In addition, closed systems prevent unwanted oil vapors from entering the interior. The built-in dipsticks in the collection tanks allow easy inspection of the accumulated liquid. No cutting, drilling or permanent modifications are required.
20-0749-FL Catch Tank Kit, PCV, MK5 SUPRA
The PCV Catch Can Kit mounts in-line between the breather valve and intake manifold. It is attached to the threaded bushings on the front radiator support. This spot is left free of aftermarket parts such as an upgraded turbocharger or intake manifolds.
The PCV collector catches unwanted "metered" crankcase vapors, unused fuel and oil sludge. It conveys clean, filtered air back into the turbocharger inlet.
CONTAINS :
-Oil collection tank with baffles
-MK5 GR Supra specific mount
-Connectors and hose ends
-Stainless steel hardware
-Radium PVC hose
NOTES :
1. The PCV catch tank kit is compatible with the CCV catch tank kit and is recommended for use. See 20-0750 below.
2. No additional in-line check valve is required as Radium Catch Tanks are pressure tight.
20-0750-FL Catch Tank Kit, CCV, MK5 SUPRA
The CCV-Catch Tank is attached to 2 holes on the front radiator support. It was specifically designed to hide the strut braces. In addition, this spot remains free of aftermarket parts such as an upgraded turbocharger or intake manifolds.
To maintain factory functionality, the CCV catch tank is wired in series between the crankcase ventilation (CCV) port and the intake manifold. At low loads, it is under atmospheric pressure. However, when the engine is running at high load (WOT), the line is stressed by high flow from the crankcase into the intake system. This would normally result in a build up of oil and sludge in the air cleaner intake pipe. This accumulation of oil would spread and enter the charge air cooler, reducing the heat exchanger's thermal efficiency and resulting in performance degradation. The CCV catch tank catches this and directs clean, filtered air back into the intake tract.
CONTAINS :
-Catch tank with baffles
-MK5 GR Supra specific mount
-Connectors and hose ends
-Stainless steel hardware
-Radium PVC hose
NOTES :
1. The CCV catch tank kit is NOT suitable for blow-by from the PCV side of the crankcase.
2. The CCV catch tank kit is compatible with the PCV catch tank kit and is recommended for use. See 20-0749 above.
20-0751-FL DOUBLE CATCH TANK KIT, MK5 SUPRA
For ultimate engine protection, Radium recommends 20-0751 Dual Catch Tank Kit, MK5 Supra.
This kit uses both the "PCV" and "CCV" catch tank kits described above.
