After extensive testing, we are proud to introduce the first-ever fully plug & play Fuel Pump Hardwire Kit for the GTR.
This PNP kit bypasses the factory wiring voltage limitations by connecting the fuel pumps directly to the battery. It increases the power output from 12V to battery voltage (14V+). With direct battery voltage you are now able to maximize the flow of the pumps allowing more headroom on vehicles with injectors that are at their limit.
A not-so-known problem with hard-wired, upgraded fuel pumps is that the fuel pressure regulator can become overloaded at idle, causing fuel pressure to slowly increase when it shouldn't be increasing. This kit solves this problem as it still allows the fuel pump regulator to switch the primary pump between low, medium and high speeds.
Our STG2 Dual 485 Billet Basket Upgrade uses the 'OEM Fuel Hanger' harness.
