Eventuri carbon intake system for Audi B9 S4/S5

Power increase: 13-17hp, 15-20ft-lbV box Acceleration: 60-130mph reduced by 0.5 secondsThe intake for the Audi B9 S4/S5 from Eventuri was developed to give the turbo less restrictive airflow while maintaining low intake temperatures to maintain. The S5/S4 engine bay heats up very quickly so an open system would result in better airflow but at higher inlet temperatures. Therefore, the airflow route from the front grille to the turbo inlet has been completely redesigned with a highly efficient, sealed system. The restrictive OEM airbox and flexible plastic tube have been replaced with a venturi filter housing and smooth transition ducting. Additionally, by removing the OEM pleated tube and replacing the filter with our patented one-piece venturi housing and rigid tube, the airflow is significantly smoother as it enters the turbo inlet. The resulting increase in performance and aesthetics are groundbreaking innovations for this platform.The Eventuri DifferenceThe B9 S4/S5 Eventuri system utilizes our patent pending carbon fiber housings with our custom designed Gen 2 filter, providing an aerodynamically efficient airflow path from the filter to the inlets . Not just another filter with a heat shield, but a unique design that creates the Venturi effect. The intake has been VBOX tested on the road to record acceleration from 60-130mph (and 100-200km/h). Testing was done at the same track - and on the same day to keep variables to a minimum. The results show that acceleration times from 60-130mph have decreased by almost 0.5 seconds, which is a definite improvement at such speeds. This shows that the gains measured on the dyno are not representative of how the intake performs on the road when given the correct flow conditions - on the road the intake shows a greater gain from the reduction in acceleration times compared to the dyno. Summary of acceleration results: 60-130mph with Original Airbox = 14.72 seconds 60-130mph with Eventuri Induction = 14.24 seconds 100-200km/h with Original Airbox = 12.45 seconds 100-200km/h with Eventuri Induction = 12.12 SecondsThe improvements come from a combination of reasons: 1) The closed system keeps IATs low - especially with the front air scoop pushing the air into the system. 2) The venturi body ensures a smooth transition from the filter to the intake manifold with no friction. This helps the turbo run more efficiently by maintaining laminar flow in the inlet section. 3) The entire system is made of pure pre-preg carbon fiber, which is excellent for thermal insulation.
