Eventuri carbon intake system for BMW E6x M5 M6

The Eventuri carbon intake system for BMW E60 M5 and E63 M6 was developed to increase engine performance, improve handling and enhance the overall driving experience. The main aspects lie in the balance between aerodynamic efficiency and air inlet temperature. An open system was chosen, but with differences to other air boxes from the accessories. This can be seen in the shape of the carbon housing and the position and shape of the air filter. The so-called Venturi effect occurs due to the inverted cone-shaped filter, which is also encased in carbon fibre. A performance increase of +15 hp is realistic due to the resulting evenly laminar air flow. The air box is manufactured using the prepreg carbon process.
