The Eventuri carbon intake system for VAG 2.0 TFSI replaces the cuboid OEM airbox and the restrictive air ducts with the free-flowing Venturi air filter housing and a completely newly developed air duct.
The system is designed in such a way that no hot air is drawn out of the engine compartment. Instead, only pure fresh air reaches the engine in order to generate maximum increases in performance. The air flow was designed in such a way that an ideal transition between the round opening on the filter housing and the rectangular opening on the cover is created. Of particular importance is the front air deflector behind the radiator grille, which allows cold air to be fed directly into the intake system.
The patented Eventuri process can also accelerate the air flow. This happens through the Venturi effect, in which the inverted cone-shaped filter results in an increasing narrowing of the cross-section. This ultimately generates an increase in power, torque and an improvement in response and sound.
The Eventuri Intake is available in Carbon/ABS, Carbon and Carbon/Kevlar (red, blue, yellow) variants. In the carbon/ABS version, the filter housing is made of carbon fiber and the air duct is made of ABS. In the carbon version, both components are made of carbon fiber. The different colored Kevlar structures ensure an even more individual look under the hood. The function of the intake remains the same regardless of the execution.
