The Nuke Performance CFC Unit eliminates the need for an external expansion tank, which is also required when operating a fuel cell, making it a perfect solution for injection systems. In combination with the PWM control, the CFC unit prevents the generation of heat when operating multiple fuel pumps. This is the best way to prevent fuel starvation that can otherwise occur in motorsports. And with the new design allowing the installation of brushless fuel pumps, it is also possible to fit Venturi pickup points that ensure a full surge tank even at extremely low fuel levels.

Integrated 2.0 liter fuel tank with a billet fuel pump mount for 1-2 brushless fuel pumps
Nuke Performance's unique CFC unit serves as a filler plate replacement for fuel cells using the standardized 6x10" 24-bolt pattern filler plates from manufacturers such as ATL, Premier, Pyrotect, Fuel Safe, Radium, etc. The CFC unit for brushless fuel pumps is the perfect solution for a simplified and efficient high-performance fuel system that puts safety first. With the integrated drop-in surge tank, this design eliminates the need for a space-consuming external surge tank.

Since all the fuel pumps you need are mounted in the fuel cell itself, this product is the only thing you need. The simplicity of the design saves space and weight and increases safety by requiring fewer fuel line connections and eliminating the use of external fuel pumps. With its unique low-profile billet design, this is the lightest solution on the market and allows you to save significant weight in your race car.

Suitable for one or two internal brushless high pressure fuel pumps, lower amps, less heat and colder fuel
The Nuke Performance CFC Unit for brushless fuel pumps - Competition Fuel Cell Unit - with integrated fuel tank is designed for the use of one or two brushless fuel pumps in the integrated tank. This allows for the choice of a smaller pickup fuel pump with fewer amps, less heat, and a lower fuel temperature as a result.

The combination of the 6-pin connector allows you to use a single or two brushless fuel pumps along with the three electrical connections for the lift pump. This arrangement allows for either a single or dual fuel pump, or a single brushless fuel pump as a pickup pump. The CFC brushless fuel pump unit is offered with a range of brushless fuel pumps that fit our CFC unit without further modifications.

Uses internal high pressure brushless fuel pumps, for any need between 200 - 2000 hp
Nuke Performance's CFC units use a billet fuel pump mount and mate with a single or dual Protec and Deatschwerks high-pressure brushless fuel pumps. Because brushless fuel pumps require more connections but at the same time require fewer amps, this CFC Unit is fitted with a 6-pin bulkhead connector that allows the connection of a single or dual brushless fuel pump in the surge tank. Thanks to the internal expansion tank, this solution is able to deliver a smooth flow of fuel for demands between 200 and 2500 hp without fuel starvation, even in demanding driving conditions.

The CFC unit for brushless fuel pumps was developed for use with the Protec brushless Cobra Compact and Deatschuks DW440 brushless fuel pumps. Combined with the Nuke Performance fuel pump assembly kits, building a high performance fuel system has never been easier. Every part of the CFC Unit is guaranteed to work perfectly with alcoholic fuels such as ethanol, even in long-term operation. It will also fit standard 39mm fuel pumps, but as these fuel pumps draw more amps it is recommended to use the other CFC Unit models with the 6mm failsafe connectors.

How are the fuel pumps mounted in the Nuke Performance High-Profile CFC Unit for Brushless Fuel Pumps?
The single fuel pump mounted in the fuel cell acts as a feeder fuel pump, ensuring the high-pressure fuel pumps always have enough fuel in the oversized 2.0 liter tank to maximize flow and reduce the risk of starvation minimize what could seriously damage your engine. See the product manual for more information. The CFC Unit brushless fuel pump edition comes with everything you need to install your choice of fuel pumps. However, we recommend using one of our fuel pump kits for optimal functionality. All fuel pumps are securely mounted in all conditions thanks to billet fuel pump mounts.

What brands and type of fuel cells can be used with Nuke Performance's high-profile version of the CFC Unit?
The high-profile CFC unit was developed from the low-profile version, but with the addition that the CFC unit can be installed in the popular Saver Cell fuel cells from ATL and Fuel Safe fuel cells without any modifications. These fuel cells have a smaller aperture than other common fuel cells, necessitating this new design.

A benefit of this taller form factor is the reduced minimum installation depth of 197 mm (7.75") instead of the 219 mm of the previous slim design version. This high-profile version offers the minimum installation depth and fits into smaller openings while maintaining the same undisputed top functionality and only a little more weight than the low-profile lightweight version.

Available with a choice of fuel cells from ATL, Pyrotect and Nuke Performance, all supplied with your preferred CFC unit.
Switching from a stock fuel tank to an FIA-legal fuel cell has never been easier. We offer the high and low profile CFC Unit in combination with fuel cells from ATL and Pyrotect. For a simple and affordable solution when homologation is not required, check out Nuke Performance's Alucell 40/60 liter fuel cells.

Choose your preferred CFC unit to match your chosen fuel pump setup. This version is equipped with additional electrical connectors that handle all the wiring required when using Protec, Deatschwerks, Fuelab and others brushless fuel pumps.

NEW: The Fuel Cell Vent Kit AN-6 fits directly onto the vent valve of the CFC Unit and is easy to install.
The CFC Unit is fitted with an AN-8 (3/4 UNF) to AN-6 male anti-over-tightening vent fitting and the easiest way to get the vent line into a safe and functional position is to use a Nuke Performance fuel cell vent kit . Available in different sizes, from AN-6 to AN-12, you can choose the kit that best suits your needs. If you wish to use a larger bleed line than AN-6 you will also need to change the fitting on the bleed valve, view the range here. The bleed kit comes with a 1m (3.3ft) nitrile fuel hose and a universal air filter that prevents debris from entering your fuel system.

Our wide range of fittings and mounting options will meet all of your fuel delivery needs in an aftermarket fuel system.
The CFC unit uses AN-10 ORB outlet and AN-8 ORB return inlet ports. The use of the oversized, high-flow AN-10 ORB outlet consolidates the internal fuel pumps into a single fuel line, minimizing the need for external equipment, hoses and fittings. The included rollover proof vent fitting is AN-6 (3/4 UNF) and can be swapped out for AN-6 or AN-10 if required. Outlet and return fittings AN-6, AN-8, AN-10 and AN-12 are available separately as accessories.

How does the Nuke Performance Competition fuel cell unit work?
The CFC Unit functions as a fuel pump mount with an integrated expansion tank for motorsport applications where safety and functionality are paramount. It is designed to mount directly to an aftermarket fuel cell using a standardized 24-bolt pattern. For more information on how the CFC Unit works, watch our Youtube video explaining the features or visit our FAQ guide to learn more about the CFC Unit.

How are the fuel pumps connected to the electrical connectors and fuel lines?
The Competition Fuel Cell Unit (CFC Unit) for brushless fuel pumps with an integrated expansion tank has a 6-pin connector to manage the connections required for the brushless fuel pumps. The CFC Unit is supplied with the bulkhead connector, pins and male/female connectors required to mount a single or dual brushless fuel pump in the surge tank. Each brushless fuel pump uses 3 pins for its external control unit. By using fewer amps the bulkhead plug is the perfect fit for a simple and service friendly solution.

The extra 6mm connectors are for the lift pump and with the three connectors you have many options to choose from. You can mount a brushless lift pump, a low pressure lift pump, or even a dual low pressure setup if you want to mount the fuel pumps in each corner of the fuel cell. The fuel line connects to the fittings provided, but we recommend using one of the fuel pump assembly kits for the selected fuel pumps to reap all the benefits of easy maintenance, fail-safe functionality and long-term durability even when running on alcohol fuels such as ethanol.

The additional Venturi suction line ensures the internal fuel level in the expansion tank even when using the smallest suction pump
An additional Venturi pickup kit can be connected to both the Protec Brushless Cobra Compact and the Detschwerks DW440 Brushless In-Tank fuel pumps. The venturi kit is not intended to be used alone without a pickup pump. It is designed to maintain the fuel level in the internal surge tank while also allowing a smaller, lower flow fuel pump to be mounted in the fuel cell. The CFC brushless fuel pump unit provides space and functionality for a dual venturi kit installed at the same time as a single lift pump.

Flat fuel cap or stepped filler neck for 50mm fuel filler hose?
The high profile CFC unit comes with a low profile gas cap with integrated ROPS. For those who prefer remote filling, we offer a remote filler neck that accepts a 50-52mm fuel filler hose. It fits directly into the CFC unit and has an integrated ROPS that attaches to the underside of the CFC unit. The remote filler neck is available as an accessory.

Choose the right level sensor for your aftermarket fuel cell
For most applications, an accurate fuel level sensor is required to have the best experience. The Nuke Performance CFC unit mates with the most common level gauges that use the 5-bolt SAE pattern. The CFC Unit comes with a flat and lightweight block-off plate that can be easily swapped out for a tank sender of your choice. The CFC unit can be supplied with an FLS. When ordering, be sure to select the correct length. To make your selection easier, measure the depth of your fuel cell and subtract approximately 20mm (0.78") and choose the tank sender closest to your measurement.
