Due to the constant and intense exposure to heat, plastic coolant reservoirs are known to fail over time. Luckily, Radium Engineering's tough two-piece replacement is CNC-machined from aluminum and anodized for durability. And because aluminum is an excellent conductor of heat, heat transfer is further enhanced. In addition, the metal construction is robust enough to be used in racing.

This R35 GT-R kit directly replaces the Nissan plastic fuel tank without making any permanent changes to the vehicle. A specially designed bracket attaches to the existing threaded holes and the radium adapters connect to the factory plumbing. The functionality of the tank remains the same as the OEM cooling system. The reduced size allows more space in the engine compartment for other modifications and easier access to the engine for maintenance.

Radium Engineering's coolant expansion tank has been proven over the years in many applications around the world, in both race and street vehicles.

The interior design consists of two chambers with crossing passages at the top and bottom. The coolant reservoir also has an internal swirl that bleeds the system.

The kit contains all parts required for installation.

The OEM 1.37 bar Nissan pressure cap can be reused. Alternatively, various Radium Engineering Type A cover vents can be used.
