Verkline Nissan GT-R R35 tubular lightweight rear subframe allows you to drop the gearbox without the need for removing the subframe from the car ever again.
Nearly 50% of the mass reduction from 66.35 lbs (30.10 kg) that the rear OEM subframe weights.
Our lightweight rear subframe is based on a 3D scan of the OEM subframe, is fully CAD designed, 3D finite element method (FEM) tested and manufactured from T45 tubing (full designation: BS4 T45 to BS5T100 / BS6S100).
The cross member is TIG welded entirely by hand to ensure absolute quality control using a custom Lincoln Electric TIG wire that matches the tensile and elongation properties of the tubes. The detachable center link is machined from aircraft-grade 7075 aluminum and anodized.
It is possible to remove the gearbox from the vehicle without removing the subframe. You must use Boost Logic Solid Transmission Mount Kit to use this feature.

T45 tubing is a unique carbon-based seamless steel tube used in many applications across various industries. It is stronger than Co-Mo 4130 (chromoly) which is also used in motorsport. T45 is widely used in aerospace, e.g. B. for pilot seats and crew seats, as the material withstands high G-forces without breaking or splintering. This material is carbon manganese based and conforms to British Standards full aerospace specification. The properties of T45 are: Tensile strength: 700 - 900MPa, 0.2% yield point 620MPa Minimum hardness test: 201min - 262 max HB or 210min - 275max HV. We also use S355 sheet metal for the subframe.
The size of the subframe is 1412 x 886 x 295 mm (length x width x height).
Note: Sold for off-road, track and racing applications only. If the buyer wants to use the parts for other purposes, it is up to him to obtain the relevant documents. We strongly recommend that the subframe be fitted at a qualified and experienced workshop.
