The WAGNERTUNING high-performance intercooler has a new type of competition net (tube fin) with the dimensions 670 mm x 183 mm x 125 mm (15.3 liters), which was specially developed for the requirements of the vehicle. This high performance mesh offers 87% more mesh volume over the Original Equipment intercooler. The ratio used between the inner and outer cooling surface generates maximum heat transfer and at the same time allows the adjacent components (e.g. the engine water cooler behind it) enough air flow for its heat exchange.
The cast aluminum end boxes were designed in CAD and optimized with the help of CFD simulations (for an ideal internal air flow). The result is excellent cooling properties with the lowest back pressure. Optimal cooling of the charged air with a significant increase in performance!
An anti-corrosion coating with excellent thermal conductivity properties protects the WAGNERTUNING intercooler from all environmental influences, as a result of which a permanent and optimal cooling effect can be guaranteed. The assembly takes place at the original attachment points and is easy to carry out (plug and play). Furthermore, the charge air cooler adapts to the original charge air hoses. All of our products are subject to constant quality monitoring.
