Motorsport version of the MV-S with stainless steel cooling fins
For the toughest demands in racing
This MV-S-AR 38mm is especially suitable for motorsport applications where the water cooling connections of the normal MVS wastegates cannot be used. The MVS-A or "Long Neck" has the normal 38mm valve but has an additional 5 cooling fins between the case body and the upper case. Born in motorsport, this wastegate can work in the toughest conditions, giving 100% performance 100% of the time. It's the wastegate for many WRC teams.
The V-Band flange connection makes assembly and disassembly very easy. The 3 upper and 2 lower air connections make the installation of pressure lines and the boost pressure control very easy.
A high-temperature resistant NiCrFe alloy is used for the valve and the housing is cast from 1.4550 (347SS) stainless steel to guarantee durability even under the highest loads. The membrane is made of Nomex silicone, which is very temperature-resistant and durable. The spring in the wastegate is also made of heavy-duty stainless steel, which still works reliably even at temperatures of up to 480°C. Nomic 60 stainless steel was used for the valve seat and valve guide to reduce friction and wear. All other assembly parts are made of stainless steel. There are 5 different colors available and each MVS comes with all springs for maximum flexibility. 3 lower and 2 upper connections allow flexible assembly of the pressure lines without having to turn the upper part of the wastegate. Sealing plugs for closing the open ports are included. The assembly takes place via V-band clamps, which is extremely easy to assemble and disassemble. The wastegate also comes with Dash 4 (-4 AN) water ports to allow cooling for extreme racing applications. These can be removed if not required. The MVS-A has cooling fins installed between the upper and lower cases, which dissipate additional heat even if water cooling cannot be used.
