The Nuke Performance CFC Unit eliminates the need for an external expansion tank, which is otherwise required when operating a fuel cell, and is perfect for injection systems. In conjunction with PWM control, the CFC unit is an effective solution to prevent heat generation when operating many fuel pumps. This is the best way to avoid fuel shortages that can occur in motorsport. And by using the standardized 6x10" 24-bolt filler plate pattern, it will mate with almost any fuel cell on the market.

Nuke Performance's unique CFC Unit serves as a filler plate replacement for fuel cells using the standardized 6x10" 24-bolt filler plate pattern. The CFC Unit is the perfect solution for a simplified, high-performance fuel system that puts safety first. With the The integrated drop-in slosh tank eliminates the need for a space-consuming external slosh tank with this setup. Since all the fuel pumps you need are mounted in the stuff bag itself, you only need them. This saves space and weight and increases safety, as fewer fuel line connections are required and none external fuel pumps, and with its unique, flat billet design, this is the lightest solution on the market, allowing you to save significant weight in your race car.

Internal high-pressure fuel pumps, for every need between 200 and 2000 hp
The CFC Unit - Competition Fuel Cell Unit - with integrated surge tank uses a billet fuel pump mount and fits a single or dual high pressure fuel pump from Deatschwerks, AEM, Ti Automotive, Walbro, Bosch, Fuelab, Aeromotive and many others. It fits all standard 39mm fuel pumps, as well as the larger Deatschwerks DW400, Walbro GST400/GST450/GST520, Bosch BR540 and Aeromotive Stealth 450. To ensure the fuel tank is always full, a fuel pump is fitted within the fuel cell on a mounted on a height-adjustable aluminum bracket and works as a lifting fuel pump. This solution is able to deliver a smooth flow of fuel for demands between 200 and 2500 hp without fuel starvation, even in demanding driving conditions thanks to the internal expansion tank. This has become an extremely popular solution for all types of motorsport.

The CFC Unit fits the most common fuel pumps. Along with the Nuke Performance fuel pump assembly kits, building a high performance fuel system has never been easier. And every small part of the CFC unit is guaranteed to work perfectly even with fuels containing alcohol, such as ethanol, even in continuous use.

How are fuel pumps assembled with the Nuke Performance CFC Unit?
The single fuel pump mounted in the fuel cell acts as a pickup fuel pump, ensuring the high-pressure fuel pumps always have enough fuel in the oversized 2.0 liter tank to maximize fuel flow and reduce the risk of fuel burn Eliminate starvation that can seriously damage your engine and performance. See the product manual for more information. The CFC unit comes with everything you need to install your choice of fuel pumps. However, we recommend using one of our fuel pump kits for optimal functionality. All fuel pumps are securely mounted in all conditions thanks to billet fuel pump mounts.

The Nuke Performance CFC Unit - Low profile Competition Fuel Cell Unit, with integrated fuel tank, is now equipped with ORB threads instead of the UNF threads originally used. With the AN-10 ORB outlet port and AN-8 ORB return port, you can choose from a wide range of different ORB ports. The use of the oversized, high flow AN-10 ORB outlet consolidates the internal fuel pumps into a single fuel line, minimizing the need for external devices, hoses and fittings. The included rollover proof vent fitting is AN-6 (3/4 UNF) and can be swapped out for AN-6 or AN-10 if required. Outlet and return fittings AN-6, AN-8, AN-10 and AN-12 are available separately as accessories.

For which brands and type of fuel cells can the Nuke Performance CFC Unit be used?
The Nuke Performance CFC Unit - Competition Fuel Cell Unit with Integrated Expansion Tank fits most popular fuel cell/fuel tank manufacturers such as Fuelsafe, ATL Ltd, Pyrotect, Jaz, Premiere Fuel Systems and others that use the standardized 6x10" 24 bolt pattern for the filler plate and have an available installation depth of at least 219mm. Installation is quick and easy and the CFC Unit comes with everything you need for installation on most fuel cells. For ATL Saver Cells and other fuel cells made of a harder material , we also offer the ATL version of the CFC Unit which is supplied when ordering an ATL CFC Unit fuel cell This unit can also be ordered separately if required, click here for more information.

Which fuel cell should one use for the Nuke Performance CFC unit?
The Nuke Performance Fuel Cell Fill Plate Surge Tank Unit comes as a single unit that can be used with your choice of fuel cell, a home-built aluminum fuel cell, or any 24-bolt tank. It is worth considering whether you need a fuel cell with an FIA homologation, whether your main priority is weight, money or safety. Whatever your answer, the CFC Unit is the way to go for all of these needs.

How are the fuel pumps connected to the electrical connectors and fuel lines?
Nuke Performance's CFC Unit uses oversized electrical connectors making it fail safe so you don't have to worry about overloading the connectors at high amps. For the lift fuel pump you have two electrical connections and for the high pressure fuel pumps you have a total of three connections, allowing you to run a dual fuel pump setup in two steps or simultaneously if preferred. The fuel line is connected to the supplied fittings. However, we recommend using one of the fuel pump mounting kits for the selected fuel pumps to take full advantage of easy maintenance, fail-safe functionality and long life, even when using alcohol-based fuels such as ethanol.

Low profile fuel filler neck or remote filler neck for 50mm fuel filler hose?
The CFC unit comes with a flat fuel cap with integrated ROPS. For those who prefer remote filling, we offer a remote filler neck that accepts a 50-52mm fuel filler hose. It fits directly into the CFC unit and uses the integrated rollover protection on the underside of the CFC unit. The remote filler neck is available as an accessory.

NEW: The AN-6 Fuel Cell Vent Kit fits directly onto the CFC unit vent valve and is easy to install.
The CFC unit is fitted with an AN-8 (3/4 UNF) to AN-6 male anti-over-tightening vent fitting and the easiest way to get the vent line into a safe and functional position is to use a Nuke fuel cell vent kit Performance. Available in different sizes, from AN-6 to AN-12, you can choose the kit that best suits your needs. If you wish to use a larger bleed line than AN-6 you will also need to change the fitting on the bleed valve, view the range here. The bleed kit comes with a 1m (3.3ft) nitrile fuel hose and a universal air filter that prevents debris from entering your fuel system.

Choose the right level sensor for your aftermarket fuel cell
For most applications, an accurate fuel level sensor is required to have the best experience. The Nuke Performance CFC unit mates with the most common level gauges that use the 5-bolt SAE pattern. The CFC Unit comes with a flat and lightweight block-off plate that can be easily swapped out for a tank sender of your choice. The CFC unit can be supplied with an FLS. When ordering, be sure to select the correct length. To make your selection easier, measure the depth of your fuel cell and subtract approximately 20mm (0.78") and choose the tank sender closest to your measurement.
