OVERVIEW :
The new Radium Engineering fuel pump mount for the Mitsubishi EVO X has been redesigned for improved fuel extraction and easier installation. It completely replaces the factory in-tank fuel pump module and allows the use of 1 or 2 aftermarket fuel pumps. The OEM level gauge, fuel temperature and fuel tank pressure sensors are retained to ensure factory functionality. CONNECTIONS :
Adapter fittings (see below) are included with all configurations for direct connection to OEM fuel lines.
The fuel hanger can also be used with the 8AN and 6AN adapter fittings shown below for installing aftermarket AN hoses.
Radium Engineering recommends upgrading the supply and return lines when using multiple pumps.

NOTE : An OEM pressure sensor (Mitsubishi 8651A025) is located on the cylinder head to meet North American emissions standards. For international vehicles that do not come with this standard, 20-0421 EVO X FUEL TANK PRESSURE PLUG is required.
The kit includes a one-piece anodized aluminum collector box that makes installation a breeze and keeps fuel contained around the pump inlet(s). As shown below, a 355 LPH 1-way fill valve is built into the bottom of the collector, allowing fuel in but not out. The collection tank is constantly filled with the fuel flowing back from the pressure regulator.
NOTES ON THE VENTURI JET PUMP :
1. The OEM venturi jet pump in the return line creates a restriction with the stock EVO X fuel pump module.
2. Radium Engineering redesigned the siphon system to eliminate this limitation but still effectively scavenge fuel. This means higher flow pumps can be safely used without fuel pressure issues.
3. Depending on the fuel pressure, the venturi jet pump consumes 15-45 LPH. Take this fuel loss into account when dimensioning the fuel pumps.
4. If it is important that the fuel pressure remains constant after the engine has been shut down, install one of these check valves somewhere in the fuel system.

20-0246-XX SUSPENSION FUEL LINE, EVO X
The supply kit includes an 8AN high flow PTFE hose and fuel filter for a non-restrictive fuel supply line (see below for kit contents). The engine must be fitted with a fuel line capable of accepting an 8AN inlet hose.
Depending on the kit selected (-01,-03,-05), the fuel filter is assembled with one of three different elements.
The supply kit includes an 8AN high flow PTFE hose and fuel filter for a non-restrictive fuel supply line (see below for kit contents). The engine must be fitted with a fuel line capable of accepting an 8AN inlet hose.
Depending on the kit selected (-01,-03,-05), the fuel filter is assembled with one of three different elements.
The kit includes a specially designed fuel filter bracket that utilizes the OEM mounting holes so no drilling or chassis modifications are required for installation.

The Fuel Return Kit includes all of the hoses, fittings and parts required to use the Evo X OEM fuel feed line as a return line. The exact contents of this kit can be seen in the photo below. This is a method of replacing the restrictive 1/4" (6.5mm) OEM return hose which is critical to the correct operation of the regulator. In the engine compartment, the -6AN PTFE return hose attaches directly to a Radium direct mount regulator ( Part number 20-0623-0X) when installed in the top port of a radium fuel rail.The two SAE quick disconnects allow either end of the OEM feed line to connect to the rest of the kit easily and without leaks.

20-0421 FUEL TANK PRESSURE PLUG
Many vehicles outside of North America do not come standard with the OEM fuel tank pressure sensor. This part is required to plug the port hole at the top of the fuel tank. Use the 2 cap screws supplied with the fuel pump hanger to secure.
