CONNECTIONS AND FITTINGS

The fuel line connections are designed for 8AN ORB.

8AN ORB adapter fittings.
8AN ORB direct mount controller.
8AN ORB fuel impulse dampener.
Adapter for fuel pressure gauges.

Appropriate fittings must be selected for the specific application. Adequate clearance around the fuel line fitting(s) is required for larger accessories such as fuel pressure regulators, fuel pressure gauges, and fuel impulse dampeners. To check the clearance, the dimensional drawings on the product pages can be used as a guide.

This Radium Engineering secondary fuel line is for the Mazda 13B-REW rotary engine.

Utilizing the included 2AN ORB connectors, this adaptable design allows the use of both OEM 2-port intake manifolds (shown above) and aftermarket 4-port intake manifolds (shown below).

The additional center port allows for additional fuel system accessories such as: B. the OEM fuel temperature sensor (with 14-0421, see below), a pressure transducer, a radium fuel impulse dampener, etc.

Insulating spacers and washers are included to prevent thermal energy from being conducted into the fuel. The two M8 extension brackets are made of stainless steel and are therefore particularly stable and corrosion-resistant.

The OEM 2-port intake manifold uses the included 20mm insulating spacers, billet injector seats and 2AN ORB connectors. Also, to clear the required space, an air control valve is required for the OEM 13B-REW intake manifold (sold separately).

The included 14mm lower injector seats have been specifically designed to be compatible with or without the OEM diffusers. They feature FKM O-rings making them suitable for elevated applications. NOTE: when using an Elite Rotary Shop 4-port intake manifold (shown below), 2 additional injector seats are required.

All lower intake manifold variants with the injectors listed below are compatible with this fuel rail. The supplied 11mm insulating spacers are used for the Xcessive Manufacturing 4-port intake manifold.
