CONNECTIONS AND FITTINGS

The fuel line connections are designed for 8AN ORB.

8AN ORB adapter fittings.
8AN ORB direct mount controller.
8AN ORB fuel impulse dampener.
Adapter for fuel pressure gauges.

Suitable fittings must be selected depending on the application. Adequate clearance around the fuel line fitting(s) is required for larger accessories such as fuel pressure regulators, fuel pressure gauges, and fuel impulse dampeners. To check the clearance, the dimensional drawings on the product pages can be used as a guide.

Installed between the intake manifold and cylinder head, the Radium Engineering Port Injection Kit (PIK) allows the use of port injectors to add additional fuel for powerful Ford EcoBoost engines. This kit will NOT replace the OEM directional fuel injection system. It includes the PIK adapter plate, a custom fuel rail, fuel rail hardware and OEM Ford seals as shown in the image below. Stainless steel dowels are pressed into the adapter plate to aid in alignment during installation. It is compatible with all fuel types, including popular alcohol blends such as E85.

CNC-machined from 6061 aluminum, the adapter features a smoothed orifice divider that promotes laminar flow into the combustion chambers. The spray pattern of the injection nozzle is evenly distributed over each channel.

The angled airflow passages through the PIK adapter plate (shown in green) are CAD matched to the intake ports and manifold to minimize interference with airflow through the ports.

The fuel line features a large bore with 0.69" ID. It is CNC machined from extruded 6063 aluminum and laser etched for a high quality surface finish. All 3 fittings (ends and middle) are fitted with an 8AN ORB (3/ 4-16 female) port machined.Machined isolating mounting spacers and washers are included to fully isolate fuel generated by the cylinder head and transmitted through the mounting studs.Injectors are at a maximum angle to allow proper spray into the ports guarantee.

Special CNC machined aluminum adapters (see below) are included to relocate the mounting grommets. This allows the OEM Ford Focus engine covers (ONLY) to be reused for a stealth appearance.

FUEL INJECTIONS :
This kit is designed for specific top and bottom o-ring clearances as shown below. The upper and lower injector o-rings must be 14mm in diameter. Consult fitment guide before purchasing injectors (Radium does not sell injectors).
