The WAGNERTUNING high-performance intercooler has a new type of competition net (tube fin) measuring 600 mm x 204.6 mm x 80 mm (9.8 liters), which was specially developed for the demands of the Fiat 500 Abarth. This high-performance mesh offers an 85% larger inflow area and 131% more mesh volume compared to the original intercoolers. The cast aluminum end boxes were designed in CAD and optimized with the help of CFD simulations (for an ideal internal air flow).

For the best possible heat exchange, the WAGNERTUNING high-performance intercooler is installed in the front of the vehicle and thus replaces the two original side coolers. Together with the WAGNERTUNING silicone hoses, the newly developed elliptical hose connection at the outlet of this intercooler enables the maximum possible reduction in the charge air distance. As a result, and as a result of the generally lower back pressure of the charge air system (see diagram), the general response behavior has been significantly improved.

An anti-corrosion coating with thermal conductivity properties protects the WAGNERTUNING intercooler from all environmental influences, as a result of which a permanent and optimal cooling effect can be guaranteed. The installation is done by replacing the original intercooler and is easy to carry out (plug and play). All of our products are subject to constant quality monitoring.
