Competition Intercooler Kit EVO 2 for VW T5.1 2.5TDI

The Competition high-performance intercooler has the following net dimensions (670mm x 302mm x 75mm = 15,175cm³) and thus offers a 40% larger inflow area and 229% more charge air volume compared to the original intercooler. The Competition high-performance network offers very good cooling properties. The weight of the intercooler is 8.9 kg. CAD designed free-form cast aluminum end boxes for the best possible internal airflow. With the help of integrated air baffles in the inlet, the charge air cooler is filled evenly. The original click connections have been eliminated and the connection diameters at the input and output have been increased to Ø65mm. Therefore, the kit includes two reinforced silicone hoses. The result is excellent cooling properties with the lowest back pressure. In addition, all of our intercoolers have an anti-corrosion coating with thermal conductivity properties. This guarantees permanent and optimal cooling with a significant increase in performance. The assembly takes place at the original attachment points and is easy to carry out (1:1 exchange). All of our products are subject to constant quality monitoring.
