The 2.0L liter B48 and the 3.0 liter B58 turbo engine of the specified BMW & Toyota models is equipped with an indirect charge air cooling circuit. As a result, the cooling process for the charge air is not (as usual) carried out using the ambient air as a cooling medium, but is implemented with the help of a separate cooling water circuit. Accordingly, a reduction in the cooling water temperature can also be directly equated with an improved cooling capacity of the charge air. This is exactly where the advantages of the WAGNERTUNING upgrade water cooler come into play.
